Pea Soup With Smoked Pork Ribs


  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 Carrot, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 1 cup washed hulled dried peas
  • 1 kg smoked pork ribs
  • 3 Potatoes, peeled and halved


  1. Put ribs in cold water and bring to a boil
  2. Add peas, browned onion and carrot and black pepper. Leave for a 1.5 hour on slow heat
  3. Add bay leaves and caraway seeds. Put potato and boil more 15 min
