Grilled Prawns


  • Black pepper
  • 1 clv garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 lime
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 pound raw tiger prawns, peeled & deveined
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil


  1. Mix the garlic and onion with the vegetable oil.
  2. Add the prawns and toss.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator (at least 3 hrs).
  4. Grill the prawns on a barbecue or griddle for about 5 minutes, turning once.
  5. Mix together the salt, pepper and the juice from the lime to make a dip for the prawns.
